Shaman King

As far as reboots go, Shaman King did fairly well although it did receive some mixed reviews from the audience of the original anime. The anime premiered in Spring 2021 and has since been ongoing. It was produced by Bridge studios and is based on the original manga series written by Hiroyuki Takei. Netflix acquired the streaming rights to the anime in August 2021. Although the anime has originally aired 37 episodes so far, Netflix only has 25 episodes of the anime. However, more episodes from the anime are scheduled to be released on Netflix starting from January 13, 2022.

DOTA: Dragon’s Blood

Based on the 2013 MOBA game by the same name, DOTA is an anime produced by the Korean studio, Studio Mir with Kaiju Boulevard. The first season of the anime, better referred to as “Book 1,” aired earlier in March 2021. The 8 episode long first episode was received quite well by its fans. Soon the anime was renewed for another season. For those who didn’t know, DOTA: Dragon’s Blood is another upcoming anime on Netflix, scheduled to premiere on January 18, 2022.
