Major Changes in Destiny 2, Season 17

The major change, we can say, is going to take place in the Sandbox. Engaging with airborne gunplay will no longer be a piece of cake. It got challenging with new features. In all the previous seasons, players were facing flinch issues while using the main weapons. This got updated and players now resist the chunk damage caused by the enemies.

This season is all about making big changes in all the special weapons and specific weapons.

Changes Done in Glaive-A-Rave

A glaive attack is a basic attack performed by Glaive melees, which produces kinetic damage to the enemy. In the season 17, Glaive melees will receive complete protection when shielded (7%% in case of PvP and 97.5% in case of PvE) with increased projectile speed (at 100 stats, the projectile speed will be 80% to 100% and with 0 stats the projectile speed will be 30% to 60%).

Season 17 of Destiny 2 will reduce the speed of energy drain in Glave melees by 30%. Apart from this, the glaive like Titan Glave (Edge of Action), Hunter Glaives (Edge of Concurrences), and Warlock Glaive (Edge of Intent) also went under improvement. For instance, the first one will get a bubble shield, the second one will get increased projectile speed. And the last one can get an update regarding the number of enemies it can deal with and the number has been increased from 4 to 8.

Latest Weapons

Playlist weapons that were released with season 16 went under further update. The older weapons will no longer be available but you can still get them from the vendor-rank package. Playlist weapons now have a number of increased resets. Each season’s reputation resets itself. Therefore, to gain the extra perk, the player needs to do some activities.

Changes Done in Stats

The stats displayed on weapons will not just show you bars but much more than that. They will display the capabilities of the weapons ranging from 0 to 100. The behavior of the weapons has not changed but the stats will give a new appearance to the weapons.
