Fruits Basket Prelude

Fruits Basket, also Furuba or Fruba, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Natsuki Takaya. The manga series was serialized in the semi-monthly Japanese Shōjo Manga magazine Hana to Yume, published by Hakusensha, from 1998 to 2006. The first anime adaptation of Fruits Basket (Furutsū Basuketto) was directed by Akitaro Daichi and produced by Studio Deen, with a list of 26 episodes. The same manga adaptation of Takaya’s was made into an anime in 2019. With each season consisting of 25 episodes, Season 3 had 13 episodes, the Fruits Basket 2019 was directed by Yoshihide Ibata and produced by TMS Entertainment.

Fruits Basket: Prelude Release Date

Fruits Basket- Prelude prequel episode of the Fruits Basket TV anime was released on December 15, 2021. The release date has been confirmed to be February 18, 2022. It will be released in Japanese theatres nationwide. Also, the Blu-ray Disc will be available on the same day as the movie release. Movie tickets will be available from November 11 to 24, 2021, at the Fruits Basket exhibition, which will take place at the Seibu Ikebukuro Department Main Store’s Seibu Gallery in Tokyo.
