Culver City, California, United States (June 16, 2021) Just ahead of a summer season full of the hottest anime available, Funimation, the market leader in anime serving fans worldwide, is continuing its Latin America service expansion, announcing that the popular anime service will roll out in Colombia, Chile and Peru beginning today, June 16 for fans who speak Spanish.
Today’s launch of Funimation is a Web-only preview, and Funimation‘s SVOD service will roll out next month on various apps, Smart TV platforms and gaming consoles, including Android, iOS, SamsungTV, AndroidTV, Roku, Switch, PlayStation and Xbox. Funimation‘s expansion into Brazil and Mexico last year paved the way for an additional footprint in the hemisphere.
Funimation‘s pricing for its streaming service are as follows:
Colombia: 22,900 Pesos/month (or 229,000 annually)
Chile: 3,900 Pesos/month (or 39,000 annually)
Peru: 19.90 Soles/month (or 199 annually)
Funimation‘s service offerings include anime series subtitled in Spanish, with select titles dubbed. The service has more than 5,000+ episodes of content from over 200 series plus movies, including:
