The official website of the Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki no Monmon (The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess) television anime revealed additional cast members and a promotional video on Friday. The anime is scheduled to broadcast in October 2023.

Nelia Cunningham: Ai Fairouz (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!)

Amatsu Karla: Miyuri Shimabukuro (Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu.)

Tatsuma Minamikawa (Enen no Shouboutai: Ni no Shou) is directing the anime at Project No.9. Keiichirou Oochi (5-toubun no Hanayome) is in charge of the series composition. Tomoyuki Shitaya (Shokugeki no Souma) is designing the characters, and Gou Shiina (Kimetsu no Yaiba) is composing the music.

The anime adapts Kotei Kobayashi’s comedy fantasy light novel, which began publishing in GA Bunko in January 2020, featuring illustrations by Riichu. SB Creative shipped the tenth volume on January 14.

Riichu began drawing a manga adaptation in Square Enix’s Big Gangan magazine in December 2021. The second volume shipped on January 25.

Yen Press licensed the light novel in English in August 2021 and released the third volume in December 2022. The fourth volume is scheduled for an April 18 release.
