Lisa Loring, the first actor to portray iconic character Wednesday Addams in live-action, has passed away. She was 64 years old.


Per Variety, Loring’s passing was confirmed by her daughter, Vanessa Foumberg. “She went peacefully with both her daughters holding her hands,” Foumberg said. News of Loring’s death was initially broken by a friend of hers, Laurie Jacobson, in a post fo Facebook. Among those to offer their condolences was Butch Patrick, who played Eddie Munster on the 1960s Addams Family-esque sitcom The Munsters. “Very sorry to hear of my dear friend Lisa Loring’s passing,” Patrick wrote. “We were very close and worked together often. I know she was very weak. I was in her company just a few weeks ago. Godspeed my friend.”
