Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice 2 added Platoon and Spider-Man: No Way Home actor Willem Dafoe to its expanding all-star cast.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, Dafoe’s character will not be among the living. Instead, he’ll exist in the afterlife as a law enforcement officer. It remains to be seen if this is a cameo role or a more significant part. He joins Jenna Oretega and Monica Bellucci as new editions to the cast. Returning stars Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara. The new report also indicated that filming had already begun on the sequel.
